Rim of cover will not warp after prolonged use (this cannot be said of cheaper brands). Food does not stick to bottom of insert. Meat is super tender.

This is a great cooker but I would not call it a slow cooker. On the low setting, this product cooks as fast as my conventional convection oven. Like most Breville products, the slow cooker is well-constructed, simple to operate and efficient in design. Besides the solid construction. I swear by slow cookers & have used mine regularly for years. I finally replaced my ancient Rival with this one and love it. In my opinion.
