Bushnell BacktrackBushnell - BackTrack - GPS tracking logger

Bushnell

BackTrack utilizes GPS technology in its most basic format, BackTrack has only two buttons and stores up to three locations - just mark it and forget it until it's time to return. At the end of the day, select your location and the BackTrack displays direction and distance to travel. Use it to find your car in a crowded parking lot, your treestand or the trailhead, even to rendezvous with your group. It's extremely compact and stows conveniently in your pocket, pack or purse.

Yardage Pro XG I received the Yardage Pro XG as a gift. I was amazed at how easy it was to download courses from iGolf! Wildly Inaccurate 20% of the time I was initially impressed with the Bushnell Backtrack until I used it often enough to discover that it could be wild... Where is the damned car? Bushnell GPS The Bushnell GPS Back Track works well but can take a while to initially locate its signal.

WORKS FOR WHAT I WANT IT FORE. Accurate, One Hand Control, Quick Navigation, Quick Signal, Reliable Reception Around alot of electronics, or if not held level, the direction pointed wanders. Out in the woods it seems to work just fine.

Waste of Money Takes too long to acquire satellite signal. Hard to use and not worth the money.
OOfan 7:02am on Wednesday, March 10th, 2010
All three point to a different North and none ever point directly to my set way point. My wife uses this mainly for parking, both in her job and when shopping at a large mall.

By Kathy Etling The BackTrack GPS, Bushnell's personal location finder, is simplicity itself with just two buttons, an easy to read screen and the capability to save up to three locations. Select a location and the BackTrack will display the direction that must be traveled to return there and the total distance to be covered. All you must do is follow the pointing arrow. In digital compass mode the BackTrack indicates direction of travel in compass degrees with reference to magnetic North. The compact BackTrack's SiRF Star III GPS receiver assures optimal GPS sensitivity. The unit is powered by two AAA batteries. CONTACT: Bushnell, (800) 423-3537, www.bushnell.com
