Canon launches 3 new i-SENSYS laser multifunctional printers

Amstelveen, The Netherlands, 24th August, 2006: Canon today announces three new i-SENSYS laser multifunctional printers that incorporate print, copy, fax (fax on i-SENSYS MF4150 and i-SENSYS MF4140), and colour scan in a compact and stylish body. Each i-SENSYS laser multifunctional printer features double sided printing capability thanks to the built-in duplex unit, while both the i-SENSYS MF4150 and i-SENSYS MF4140 include a hi-speed fax.
The i-SENSYS MF4150 also comes complete with a 35 page Automatic Document Feeder. Built for compactness and ease of use, the i-SENSYS All-in-Ones machines print at 20ppm, and offer an industry leading warm-up time of 9 sec, and first copy out time of 9.6 seconds. High Speed The i-SENSYS All-in-One series of multifunctional printers offer both speed to advanced functionality. Each prints in mono at 20ppm, and a first copy can be generated in 9.6 seconds. This performance is made possible with the combined i-SENSYS technologies of On-Demand Fixing, fast engine speed, and superior print processing through UFRII LT (Ultra Fast Rendering) Canons host based driver technology. Speed is further ensured with Hi-SCoA (High Smart
Compression Architecture) that compresses data for rapid transfer between printer and PC. Duplex printing 1200 x 600dpi (enhanced) double-sided prints can be generated automatically, and two single sided documents can be copied onto one double sided page, giving the user the benefit of cost savings due to reduced paper consumption. Automatic Document Feeder To save the user time, the i-SENSYS MF4150 comes with a 35 page Automatic Document Feeder. The unit can be left to operate unattended while copies are made of multiple originals, or multiple faxes are sent. Stylish & compact Each i-SENSYS multifunctional has a remarkably small footprint one of the smallest in this market category. The devices are stylishly designed and can be easily placed onto and operated from a desktop. Each machine has a 250 page capacity the i-SENSYS MF4150 can hold 35 pages via its Automatic Document Feeder. Colour Scanning The i-SENSYS MF4150, i-SENSYS MF4140, and i-SENSYS MF4120 all include a full colour scanner, capable of scanning at 9600 x 9600 dpi (enhanced). Documents can be scanned directly to PDF for easy sorting and searching with the MF Toolbox, which enables advanced functionality and simple operation. and a fax When faxing, the i-SENSYS MF4150 and i-SENSYS MF4140 utilise a Super G3 fax modem capable of transmitting at up to 3 seconds per page, and storing 256 pages into its memory. 7 one touch dials, and 100 coded speed dials can be programmed into the control panel. Quality is assured with UHQ (Ultra High Quality) Imaging Technology, which allows for advanced grey scales and half tones. An optional Telephone hand set is available for the i-SENSYS MF4150 and i-SENSYS MF4140. Environmentally aware Each multifunctional in the range complies with the i-SENSYS environmental concept. Operation is quiet and virtually no ozone harming emissions are generated thanks to advanced roller charging. In addition to this, the All-in-One cartridges are fully recyclable.
