LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY.

Hold Control mode is a smart little feature integrated into the available four-speed automatic transmission. It helps reduce wheel spin and loss of traction when traveling on slick roads by allowing you to select a higher gear to reduce torque. You can also use it to help maximize control on hilly or twisting roads by remaining in a lower gear.
With Aveo, the only time youll realize youre driving a small car is when you park or fill up. It offers an EPA estimated 35 MPG highway thats better standard fuel economy than a lot of its competition. Under the hood, the ECOTEC 1.6L I-4 engine with Variable Valve Timing generates 108 HP and 105 lb.-ft. of torque. Choose from two transmissions: the standard five-speed manual or available four-speed automatic with Hold Control mode on LT models.
