Cobra CXR925 Radios These were purchased to replace a pair of Motorola radios, mainly because of the rewind feature and the longer battery life.

Cobra may not be doing QC I order 2 of these and returned both. First set only one of the radios would send or receive. License needed? Perfect for short range, low power output. HOWEVER, I was surprised to learn that I need a LICENSE to operate in HIGH POWER MODE.

I have seen $20 radios that were better put together. Cobra messed up big time on this radio. Buy a Midland or Uniden, or even Motorola...

Mode Functions
Your microTALK radio incorporates two (2) advanced coded squelch systems that can help to reduce interference from other users on any given channel. CTCSS (Continuous Tone Coded Squelch System) provides 38 privacy codes and DCS (Digitally Coded Squelch) provides 104 privacy codes. This provides a total of 142 Privacy Codes. Either system can be used on all channels, but both systems cannot be used on the same channel at the same time. To successfully communicate using a privacy code, both the sending and receiving radios must be tuned to the same channel and to the same privacy code system (CTCSS or DCS) and privacy code number. Each channel will remember the last privacy code system and number you select. Set CTCSS Privacy Codes To select a CTCSS privacy code: 1. After selecting a channel, press the Mode button until the CTCSS icon appears and the small numbers flash on the display (01 through 38). HOOKLESS HANGERS

PRODUCTS

WHATS NEW
Find yourself competing over closet space in the trailer with your significant other? With Hookless Hangers, you can create a closet just about anywhere. Instead of metal hooks, the hangers have strong magnets that allow them to attach to any magnetic surface, or you can use their closet strip, a powdercoated metal strip, to create a magnetic surface anywhere you have space. In addition to regular hangers they also make pant hangers and coat hangers. You can also save space in your existing closet by eliminating the 6 inches of vertical space taken up by metal hanger hooks. A set of 10 natural or walnut hookless shirt hangers has an msrp of $29.66. For more information, call (806) 853-7211 or visit www.hooklesshangers.com.

POWERFUL WALKIE-TALKIES

OVERHEAD PROTECTION
Anyone whos ever scraped the bottom of a bridge or overpass due to vertical clearance not being displayed or being mismarked knows how expensive it can be to repair the RVs damage. The GiraffeG4 overhead protection system uses waterproof sound technology to measure overhead hazards up to 16 feet and displays the height on an in-cab driver-programmable readout. Since the driver can program the highest point on the RV into the device, the system will warn the driver when a collision is about to occur. It mounts to the tow vehicles rear-view mirrors, so you can slowly move the truck under a potential hazard but still have enough time to stop the fifth-wheel or trailer from moving under it. msrp is $189.95 and the magnetic adapter for RVs is $19.95. For more information, call (877) 5431087 or visit www.giraffeg4.com.
