Zone management function

DENON products that are connected to the network can control. The Device Control item was added to the Network Setup Other Zone Management menu. With Device Control, the network functions (Internet radio when the input source is NET/ USB etc) of the device selected in step 2 can be controlled using this product.

When in device control mode, is displayed on the television screen of the controlling device, and is displayed on the television screen of the device being controlled. For information about how to operate, see the Owners Manual provided with the product.

AirPlay Upgrade Application and Instructions
This feature upgrade adds AirPlay functionality to your Denon AVR-A100, AVR-4311CI, AVR-3311CI, AVR-991 or RCD-N7. Before beginning, please ensure that your Denon network product is connected to your network and has a live internet connection. Once confirmed please proceed to Step 1
Step 1: Your Denon network product will need the latest firmware installed to get the AirPlay upgrade. To install the latest firmware on your Denon product, please select "FIRMWARE UPDATE" from the "OPTION SETUP" menu: MENU>MANUAL SETUP>OPTION SETUP>FIRMWARE UPDATE>START
Step 2: Once your Denon product has the latest firmware installed, please select "ADD NEW FEATURE" from the "OPTION SETUP" menu: MENU>MANUAL SETUP>OPTION SETUP>ADD NEW FEATURE
Step 3: After selecting "ADD NEW FEATURE", the AVR will display the "UPGRADE STATUS ID" at the lower right hand side of your television. Please record the "UPGRADE STATUS ID" in line #5 of the AirPlay Upgrade Application on the following page.
Step 4: Complete the balance of the upgrade application , making sure all details are accurate and complete, fax it to 905-475-4159 or scan and email it to contact@dmcanada.ca. Approximately 1 working day after sending your application you will receive an email confirming that your Denon is ready to be upgraded.
Step 5: Once you have received email confirmation, select "ADD NEW FEATURE" from your AVR's menu to complete the upgrade. Once started, the upgrade installation process takes about 22 minutes (depending on your download speed)
