| Wanted new camera for travel. Panaorama and people motion removal features a definite plus. Short Lag startup. Manual Zoom lenghtens batteries. I use the FinePix HS10 only for zoom shots. It's so much cheaper than a zoom lens for my Canon 40D, and it takes a good zoomed picture. We love the camera for shots of our grandchildren, especially at their sporting events with the 30X zoom. We use the camera when traveling. | |

| First Month with FujiHS10 Overall I am very pleased with the camera. Battery use is the main drawback, it is very battery hungry! My personal pick of the "super zoom" cameras currently available. Not perfect, but VERY GOOD After researching the "super zoom". DUMB DUMB DUMB The decision to reduce the EVF size to incorpoate a sensor to turn the LCD display on and off was a mistake of BIBICAL PROPORTIONS!!! | |

| Very good photos in normal settings with enough room to try this or that on special settings (feels DSLR like). High ISO shots are significantly cleaner than my Panny FZ-28. Excellent image stabilisation at full zoom (hand held) producing very sharp pictures. This camera is ammazing particularly with the quality of the zoom 30x without tripod . | Get a decent quality flash card to expedite image writing and, at least, a UV filter to protect the lens. The Fuji HS10 has a huge feature set for the money and fits my needs best. I do some close-up (macro) stuff and shoot miniatures. | |

| Had a Fuji before took over 10,000 picture with it without one day of trouble. I have had this camera since April when it came out. Tested the Olympus 800UZ and was impressed , but it lacked an viewfinder. | |
