Essential Data Protection
Another unique feature found in the Tablet PCs is the Shock Sensor which is designed to decrease the risk of damage to the computer's hard disk drive (HDD) in the event of excessive impact or vibration. In addition, the Shock Sensor Utility has the ability to improve the security of the notebook by automatically locking the notebook with a password whenever movement is detected.

Full security unlock sequence - LifeBook Lock, Bootup Lock (BIOS Lock), Hard Disk Lock. NOTE: Loss of password requires the LifeBook to be returned to Japan factory for system refresh.
