Have had since October 2005 After remodeling our house with structured wiring and CAT-6 cable. Bad Build Quality, worse service I purchased this two years back, since then it has gone bad multiple times. First thing that goes bad is the fan.

Switched without a hitch Went from a 16 port gigabit switch to the JGS524 without any problems. Very LOUD fan This network switch works great but the fan is very loud. I have it installed in a media panel in a wall.

Great switch, working well in large school network Easy to install, no problems so far(several months use).

This is a great switch, we use it to stream HD video and transfer large video files etc.

Excellent price point and performance, simple installation, great temperature and load tolerance. none yet.

Fast Gigabit speed, easy setup, rackmount brackets included, fan cooled. None so far. This is my second one. Does what it sais it will. High in value Certain 100 bit workgroups switches slowed down dramatically.
