| Very good. The bigger screen really does make all the differents. I bought the DSI XL for myself - an adult - as a replacement for my old ds on the strength of tv ads & internet reviews. I had the original DS and decided it was time for an upgrade. Wow what a difference the larger screen makes. This is a realy good product. | I bought this to play soul silver.. love it.. i havent put it down since i got it. owned a DSL before and this blows it out of the water! Screens are so much bigger than the old DS. Great gaming machine, screens comparable to psp now none... Not even close to being worth what Nintendo is asking for this pile. This "device" is for kids only. | |

| If you are old with bad eye sight the XL is fir you Big and fun to play It does not fit ot your pocket Over all I really like this device, It is not intended for serious M rated games with HD graphics at all. The web browser sucks. | |

| Bigger screen easier to see graphics A bit cumbersome - heavier than dsi/ds lite The size of screen compared with the DS lite which I also have is much better for certain puzzle types such as Mahjong, Hidden object type games. | |

My Nintendo DSi XL's Battery Light will go Red on random. It first goes red and shuts off Wireless Communications, then will start blinking Red. Then it won't let me turn it off unless I hold the Power Button for at least five seconds. I can still play my games when this happens, but recently I lost a chunk of Dragon Quest IX data because this glitch happened when I was connecting to the DQVC. Please tell me whats wrong.

A blinking red light? This is definately abnormal. I would send it in for repair, as I have never seen the power light blink when it's red, or switch to red randomly, for that matter. Contact Nintendo at 1-800-255-3700 from 6 A.M. to 7 P.M. Pacific time or online at http:// www.nintendo.com/consumer/webform.jsp to set up a repair.
Oops. Guess the blinking is normal, and I've just never drained the battery that much. Sorry about that. But this still seems strange that it changes to red randomly and disconnects you from Wi-Fi, so I would still send it in for repair.

it is normal for the power light to blink red on the DSi. it means that you have 5 minutes of battery life left.

I'm not sure what could've caused all that, but repair is the easiest and probably the best way to fix this problem.
