As regards Operator services, you will be given the necessary access numbers by your service provider. Store these numbers in the Operator settings menu. For information, contact your service provider.

Battery information
Li-Ion battery BLB-2 is the manufacturer-approved rechargeable battery is available for your phone.
Charging and discharging the battery
Your phone is powered by a rechargeable battery. Never remove or replace the battery when the phone is connected to the charger. Note that a new battery's full performance is achieved only after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles! The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times but it will eventually wear out. When the operating time (talktime and stand-by time) is noticeably shorter than normal, it is time to buy a new battery. Use only batteries approved by the phone manufacturer and recharge your battery only with the chargers approved by the manufacturer. When a charger is not in use, disconnect it from the power source. Do not leave the battery connected to a charger for longer than a week, since overcharging may shorten its life. If left unused a fully charged battery will discharge itself over time. 80
Temperature extremes will affect the ability of your battery to charge: allow it to cool down or warm up first. When the battery is running out of power and only few minutes of talk time remain, a warning tone is heard and Battery low is briefly displayed. When no more talk time is left, Battery empty is displayed and a warning tone is sounded and the phone switches itself off.
Using the batteries
Use the battery only for its intended purpose. Never use any charger or battery which is damaged or worn out. Do not short-circuit the battery. Accidental short-circuiting can occur when a metallic object (coin, clip or pen) causes direct connection of the + and - terminals of the battery (metal strips on the back of the battery) for example when you carry a spare battery in your pocket or purse. Short-circuiting the terminals may damage the battery or the connecting object. Leaving the battery in hot or cold places, such as in a closed car in summer or winter conditions, will reduce the capacity and lifetime of the battery. Always try to keep the battery between 15 C and 25 C (59 F and 77 F). A phone with a hot or cold battery may temporarily not work, even when the battery is fully charged. Li-Ion batteries performance is particularly limited in temperatures below -0 C (32 F). Do not dispose of batteries in a fire! Batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly. Must not be disposed of in municipal waste.
Radio Frequency (RF) Signals
Your wireless handheld portable telephone is a low power radio transmitter and receiver. When it is ON, it receives and also sends out radio frequency (RF) signals. In August, 1996, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) adopted RF exposure guidelines with safety levels for handheld wireless phones. Those guidelines are consistent with the safety standards previously set by both U.S. and international standards bodies: ANSI C95.1 (1992)* NCRP Report 86 (1986)* ICNIRP (1996)* Those standards were based on comprehensive and periodic evaluations of the relevant scientific literature. For example, over 120 scientists, engineers and physicians from universities, government health agencies and industry reviewed the available body of research to develop the ANSI standard (C95.1). The design of your phone complies with the FCC guidelines (and those standards). *American National Standards Institute, National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements; International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection.
Care and maintenance
Your phone is a product of superior design and craftsmanship and should be treated with care. The suggestions below will help you to fulfill any warranty obligations and to enjoy this product for many years. When using your phone, battery, charger OR any accessory: Keep it and all its parts and accessories out of small children's reach. Keep it dry. Precipitation, humidity and liquids contain minerals that will corrode electronic circuits. Do not use or store it in dusty, dirty areas. Its moving parts can be damaged. Do not store it in hot areas. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices, damage batteries, and warp or melt certain plastics. Do not store it in cold areas. When the phone warms up (to its normal temperature), moisture can form inside the phone, which may damage electronic circuit boards. Do not attempt to open it. Non-expert handling of the device may damage it. Do not drop, knock or shake it. Rough handling can break internal circuit boards. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean it. Wipe it with a soft cloth slightly dampened in a mild soap-andwater solution. Do not paint it. Paint can clog the devices moving parts and prevent proper operation. If the phone, battery, charger or any accessory are not working properly, take them to your nearest qualified service facility. The personnel there will assist you, and if necessary, arrange for service.
Important safety information
Traffic safety
Do not use a hand-held telephone while driving a vehicle. If using a handheld phone park the vehicle before conversing. Always secure the phone in its holder; do not place the phone on the passenger seat or where it can break loose in a collision or sudden stop. The use of an alert device to operate a vehicles lights or horn on public roads is not permitted. Remember road safety always comes first!
Operating environment
Remember to follow any special regulations in force in any area and always switch off your phone whenever it is forbidden to use it, or when it may cause interference or danger. When connecting the phone or any accessory to another device, read its users guide for detailed safety instructions. Do not connect incompatible products. As with other mobile radio transmitting equipment, users are advised that for the satisfactory operation of the equipment and for the safety of personnel, it is recommended that the equipment should only be used in the normal operating position (Held to your ear.). Do not point the infrared beam at anyones eye or allow it to interfere with other infrared devices.
