| I absolutely love using this speakerphone. I had a BlueAnt Supertooth3, but gave up on it and find the Nokia HF310 much easier to use. | |

Introduction
This easy fit product allows you to make and receive calls hands free in your car. You can connect the handsfree to a compatible phone that supports Bluetooth wireless technology. Read this user guide carefully before using the handsfree. Also read the user guide for your phone, which
provides important safety and maintenance information. Keep the handsfree out of reach of small children. The handsfree is compliant with the Bluetooth Specification 1.2 supporting the following profiles: Handsfree Profile 1.0 and Headset Profile 1.1. Check with the manufacturers of other devices to determine their compatibility with this device. There may be restrictions on using Bluetooth technology in some locations. Check with your local authorities or service provider.
Bluetooth wireless technology
Bluetooth wireless technology allows you to connect compatible communication devices without cables. In a Bluetooth connection, the phone and the handsfree should be within 10 meters (30 feet) of each other. Connections can be subject to interference from obstructions, such as walls, or other electronic devices.
Get started
Before using the handsfree, you must install it in the car, and pair it with a compatible phone.
The handsfree contains the following parts shown at the start of this guide: Tiltable cigarette lighter plug (1) Speaker (2)
Indicator light (3) Function key (4) Volume keys (5) Microphone (6) ignition key. In those cases, the car battery might be discharged if the handsfree is left on, or if the handsfree is turned off but connected to the cigarette lighter socket for a long time. Contact the vehicle manufacturer for more information.
Install the handsfree in the car
To function properly, the handsfree must be connected to the cigarette lighter socket of the car, and power must be supplied by the 12 volt car battery. Insert the handsfree into the cigarette lighter socket. You can tilt the cigarette lighter plug to the desired angle (up to 90 degrees). Do not try to force the plug to tilt more. Ensure that the handsfree is properly inserted in the cigarette lighter socket, and does not interfere with the normal operation of the car. In some car models, the cigarette lighter socket is powered by the car battery even when you remove the
Switch the handsfree on or off
To switch on, plug the handsfree into the cigarette lighter socket, or if already inserted in the cigarette lighter socket, press and hold the function key. When the handsfree is switched on, the indicator light flashes blue. To switch off, press and hold the function key until the indicator light briefly flashes red, or pull the handsfree out from the cigarette lighter socket.
Pair the handsfree with a phone
1. Switch on your phone.
2. Ensure that the handsfree is installed properly and switched off. 3. Press and hold the function key until the indicator light alternately flashes blue and red. 4. Enter the Bluetooth passcode 0000 to pair and connect the handsfree to your phone. In some phones you may need to make the connection separately after pairing. See the user guide of your phone. If the pairing is successful, the indicator light flashes blue five times, and the handsfree sounds a long beep and appears in the phone menu where you can view the currently paired Bluetooth devices. You can set your phone to connect with the handsfree automatically when the handsfree is switched on. To do this in Nokia phones, change your paired device settings in the Bluetooth menu. To disconnect the handsfree from your phone, switch off the handsfree, or disconnect the handsfree in the Bluetooth menu of the phone. To reconnect the paired handsfree to your phone, ensure the Bluetooth feature is activated in the phone, and switch on the handsfree. If you want to remove the pairing, you can do it in the Bluetooth menu of the phone.
