I actually purchased this through a competitor (starts with an A......com) because it was cheaper by more that $50 (rare, I know!). In hindsight. Great for the money, 12000watts of pure digital bliss, BUY NOW!! Set your Bluray players to Linear PCM!! I have owned the system for right at 1 year and I love it. Perfect sound quality for in home use. I have the computer.

I bought this system for $599 through Newegg. If you have the chance to buy it DO IT.

Non-HD video sources, meanwhile, can be upscaled to 1080p via HDMI with Faroudja DCDi cinema. The Onkyo name is synonymous with quality sound, so it's no surprise the HT-S7300 packs stellar audio processing: lossless HD codecs from Dolby and DTS; Dolby ProLogic IIz for overhead ambience; Audyssey room-correction; and specialized audio modes for gaming. Rounding it out is a speaker set highlighted by a mighty pair of floor-standing front speakers that excel every bit as much with music as they do with movies and games.
