The current activities need one more step up to fulfill the rapidly requirements change. In additional, special activities required to be sourced by adoption of new technology. Higher in recycling rate, reduction in water effluent limit for BOD and fulfilling REACH requirements is among those environmental specification that can be notified. Panasonic AVC Networks Johor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. Aiming to reduction of environmental impact Title : Re-Used Solder Dross
Quantity of solder dross waste generated sent to contractor had been reduced since the use of solder separator. The dross generated during soldering process ( solder machine ) shall be reused in process which cause the final waste generated reduced.

Title : Co2 Reduction

Reduce energy consumption and Co2 emission by stopping air compressor usage from two units to one unit at Phase 2 AIP/SMT Production area due to slow production period. The implementation was able to reduced power consumption from 220 kW to 110 kW. The air compressor was running only one unit from 8:00pm to 8:00am.
Environmental Communication FY2009 PAVCJM Eco Relay
Panasonic AVC Networks Johor (M) Sdn. Bhd. ( PAVCJM ) had conducted FY2009 eco relay on 12/12/2009 at Politeknik Johor Bahru, Pasir Gudang. Main activities includes : 1. Tree planting by VIPs. 2. Cleanup activities by PAVCJM employees , Politeknik staffs and students. More than 50 bags of garbage collected and disposed during the event with estimate weight total of 150 kg.
Title : Environmental Month
Environmental month at every June is yearly activity to improved the environmental awareness of all employees. Banner at main entrance to inform nearby public and employees that PAVCJM is committed towards environmental compliance. Environmental training calendar shall be started at June every year in conjunction with the environmental month
Emergency preparedness and response About our concept and training plan
Training on environmental subject including its related issues such as emergency preparedness had been plan on yearly basis starting from June till December every year.

Case of a training

Chemical spillage drill had been conducted on 11/12/2009 at PAVCJM Chemical Room. Main representative from production, security, material control, safety and environment had involves in the drill. The main purpose of the drill is to identify any weak point to the facilities and current contingency procedures. Color liquid had been used as chemical during the drill to ensure its reflect with actual situation.
