The SC-HTB10 is compatible with a feature of Audio Return Channel (ARC). ARC allows receiving audio signals from the TV, on top of the preexisting HDMI function of sending audio/video signals to the TV with just one cable. For the money, the soundbar is a worth it ! Turns on and off automatically with my Panny G25 Plasma remote.

Excellent for those on a budget or in an apartment... I bought this unit to pair with my Panasonic TC-P42S2 42-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV.

misleading i bought this item a few weeks ago to compliment the poor sound of my Panasonic l37v10b. Average sound.

Full description

The SC-HTB10 is compatible with a feature of Audio Return Channel (ARC). ARC allows receiving audio signals from the TV, on top of the preexisting HDMI function of sending audio/video signals to the TV with just one cable. This feature will simplify the connection by eliminating an audio cable connection between TV audio output and the main unit's audio input. Setting up the SC-HTB10 sound bar is easy and simple. Just place it in front of the TV and connect to the TV and a Blu-ray Disc player with HDMI cables. The SC-HTB10 realizes realistic live sound which cannot be experienced with TV speakers.
