The Parrot MINIKIT Smart is a Bluetooth hands-free kit featuring a Smartphone holder. It can be attached to the windshield or dashboard, enabling you to access the navigation and Smartphone features while keeping your hands on the wheel at all times. You can use the MINIKIT Smart to recharge your Smartphone via a USB socket port. Its numerous metal components and chrome finishes combine robustness and elegance. The Parrot MINIKIT Smart can easily switch from portrait to landscape mode to suit any configuration. Using a Smartphones handsfree and navigation features in your car is now as easy as ever.
Making calls couldnt be easier The first time you use the Parrot MINIKIT Smart, it synchronizes its phonebook with your cells phonebook. The entries in your MINIKIT Smart phonebook are then effortlessly updated every time you connect. Its integrated speech synthesis function means that you hear the device saying your contacts name and you confirm that you want to make the call without taking your eyes off the road. You can also make calls via speech synthesis: press the green button, say the name of the person you want to call and the MINIKIT Smart starts dialing automatically. If a person has several phone numbers, you can choose the number you wish to call by saying mobile, work or home. Find your way every time When you connect your Smartphone to the MINIKIT Smart, it is automatically connected via Bluetooth. The verbal instructions from your navigation system are transmitted with top sound quality via the 2W speaker. When you receive a call, the navigation instructions are interrupted automatically and then resumed when you end your call*. Thanks to its large holder, you will be able to see your Smartphone screen all the time. Now, you can follow your journey even more easily than using a car GPS system. A completely versatile solution The Parrot MINIKIT Smart was designed to adapt to most Smartphones, no matter what OS they are running: Android, Symbian, Apple iOS, BlackberryOS etc. Its adjustable arm can accommodate and hold any Smartphone up to 2.75" wide, while its suction foot ensures that it can be attached absolutely securely to the windshield or dashboard. It comes with an intuitive user interface featuring two telephone buttons and a rotary button. Its integrated lithium-ion battery supports a battery life of more than a week. It can be recharged via a 12V cigarette lighter and can also recharge your Smartphone using the USB port. Last but not least, it is 100% Bluetooth compatible and works with all brands of Smartphones and Bluetooth devices.

Parrot MINIKIT Smart : Get more out of your Smartphone
In order to fully benefit from telephone and navigation capabilities of Smartphones, Parrot, leader of wireless peripherals for mobile phones, has created the first Bluetooth hands-free and multifunction kit adapted to all models and compatible with all operating systems: Parrot MINIKIT Smart.
A docking bay for all Smartphones
Parrot MINIKIT Smart is a Bluetooth hands-free kit with a docking bay designed for all Smartphones, whatever their size (from 56mm to 70mm width). The connection via Bluetooth between the two peripherals allows the MINIKIT Smart to simultaneously manage hands-free conversation and the navigation applications available on Smartphones. Calls and GPS guidance will go through the 2W speaker integrated in the MINIKIT Smart. Depending on the capability of each Smartphone, the MINIKIT Smart could pause the GPS functions, and restart them once the conversation ends. MINIKIT Smart is compatible with all navigation software available (free or paid) and all operating systems: Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, Symbian, Bada Further, to always be reachable without losing your way, even for long trips, the MINIKIT Smart can recharge the Smartphone thanks to one of the USB cables included in the box. (Micro USB, Mini USB, Apple).
A smart solution, with no installation
The Parrot MINIKIT Smart is equipped with a swiveling suction cup that fixes to the windshield or the dashboard of the vehicle. The docking bay is equipped with a magnet for fast and easy positioning. Once in place, the MINIKIT Smart can be rotated for portrait or landscape mode so that the screen of the Smartphone is perfectly seen by the driver. For high-quality conversation, the MINIKIT Smart is equipped with a retractable microphone that can be positioned according to the interior of the vehicle. With a full weeks battery on standby and 10 hours talk time, the Parrot MINIKIT Smart can also be recharged using the cigar-lighter of the vehicle.
Advanced hands-free functionalities
Once paired with a smartphone via Bluetooth, the MINIKIT Smart synchronizes and automatically updates its phonebook. The MINIKIT Smart can store up to 10 different phone books (2,000 contacts per Smartphone) and can therefore be used by several drivers. Thanks to the voice synthesis of the names and a voice recognition system that requires no prior training or installation, the phonebook is available without having to operate the Smartphone. To call one of the contacts in the phonebook, press the green button, simply say the name and the MINIKIT Smart will dial the number. If several numbers are associated to a contact, the MINIKIT Smart will offer the possibilities and user will have to vocally choose one.
