Nice and sharp wide open at all focul lengths. IS works great. No problem for sharp pics at 1/13 a sec at 34mm on 7D.

Good for indoors,sports and nature shots Durable","Fast / accurate auto-focus","Lightweight I use this lens with my 50D as a general purpose lens. 15-85(24-136) is ideal. So is IS, USM AF and smooth zoom and smooth manual AF override.

As a casual photographer with a appreciation of the sharp images, I bought this lens (USM 15-85mm). It produced images better than the kit lens.
