Ricoh CX4 new creative shooting modes
Choose from six different modes, including soft focus, cross process, toy camera, miniaturise and high contrast black-and-white and then simply press the shutter-release button for unique results. See five examples below. 1. Soft focus Create the effect of a soft-focus lens. Choose the amount of softening from Weak and Strong.
2. Toy camera Replicate the sharp contrast and saturated colours associated with toy cameras, together with their characteristic distortion and vignetting. The amount of vignetting is under your control.
3. Cross process Take pictures with colors that differ markedly from those in normal photographs. Choose a color scheme from Basic, Magenta, and Yellow.
4. Miniaturise Shallow depths of field create photos that look like pictures of miniatures. This mode is effective when shooting from a high vantage point while looking down at a diagonal.
5. High contrast black and white Intensifying contrast to a level higher than normal black & white mode makes it possible to record images with a grainy feel such as that created by using ultra-high-sensitivity film in a film camera or by push processing film at the development stage.
