READ BEFORE BUYING LaCie 4big Quadra 8 TB (8TB) I am going to make this story simple and to the point. Rugged... Great and easy to use. I store all my movies on this and it has yet to fail me. click click ch ch k k k k zhurrrr They would mount every second or third attempt but rarely complete a back up.

First let me start off by commending Overstock for their SUPER FAST shipping! I bought this external hard drive after going to the Apple store with a problem. If you set it up for RAID 1 you will have implemented mirroring; that is one drive has its data duplicated on two different drives.

This is the worst computer product I have ever used. It freezes which then requires the power cord to be pulled out.

Record holder I purchased the Lacie external hard disc as a gift to my son. I specifically chose Lacie as I have one myself. Excellent Excellent, met all my expectations and i would buy another very soon LOL Truly plug and play on Mac This immediately feels like a nice piece of kit - heavy, solid, engineered.

Such a good piece of kit, LaCie are the leaders in the market, and this Rugged design is ideal for those on the move. Strong build - feels like a good product unlike the majority of other portable hard drives on the market. Transfer speeds are fast too. Ordered this HD as my main PC HD would not boot up, all my files were stored on a second HD and I could not access them.

Talked to the LaCie CO and troubleshoot with me and found out that there was a problem and they are sending me another one.

It is possible to save some money buy custom building a RAID system yourself, maybe even with a better controller card. PC Nation's shipping policy is not the greatest. The shipped the drive in it's original retail packaging and not double boxed. Not good. No Comment. All good, works very well none at the moment

Starting Over

If youd like to redo the FC-300s settings from scratch, you can use the following procedure to clear its internal memory and reload its factory settings. Caution: All of your stored settings will be lost when you perform a factory reset. Be sure to back up any information you wish to keep first. 5 Turn off the FC-300. While holding down and , turn on the powerFactory Reset Are you sure? appears in the display. Press WRITE. When Factory Reset Completed! appears, turn off the FC-300. Power-up the FC-300 for use.
Congratulations on your purchase of Rolands most powerful MIDI foot controller, the FC-300. This TurboStart contains step-by-step instructions that will quickly introduce you to the FC-300s major features.

Changing the Modes

The FC-300 has four modes of operation you can choose from. They are:
Standard ModeThis mode is for sending both Control Change messages and

Program Change messages.

Control Change ModeThis mode is for sending only Control Change

messages.

System Exclusive ModeThis mode is for sending or receiving System Exclusive
Patch ModeThis mode is for sending multiple MIDI messages that have been
previously been saved as patches. Heres how to choose the desired mode: 1 Press the MODE button repeatedly until the mode you want is selected.
Tip: To select modes with your feet, simultaneously press the up and down pedals.
Changing the Control Change Numbers Assigned to the Pedals
You can assign any Control Change number (CC#) to a pedal. Heres how: Press MODE until the red indicator is lit next to CONTROL. Press the PARAMETER button oncePDL1:Assign CC#65 appears in the display. Press VALUE or to change the CC# number. If youd like to change the CC# values for the other pedals, repeat Steps 2 and 3. Once youve made all of your desired CC# assignments, press WRITE. Press 5 or 6 to select a memory location (1-5) in which to store your new setup. Press WRITE twicethe new settings are now stored into the FC-300s memory.

Power Patches

Programmable Switching
