Solving Problem
When you switch your phone on, the following messages may appear Insert SIM Make sure that the SIM card is correctly installed Phone Lock The automatic locking function has been enabled. You must enter the phones password before you can use the phone. Enter PUK The PIN code was entered incorrectly three times in succession and the phone is now blocked. Enter the PUK supplied by your service provider. Enter PIN You are using your phone for the first time. You must enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) supplied with the SIM card. The PIN Check feature is enabled. Every time the phone is switcshed on, the PIN has to be entered. To disable this feature, use the PIN check menu. No Service, Network Failure, or Not Done displays The network connection has been lost. You may be in a weak signal area. Move and try again. You are trying to access an option for which you have not taken out a subscription with your service provider. Contact the service provider for further details. You have entered a number but it was not dialled Make sure that you have pressed SEND Make sure that you have accessed the right cellular network. Make sure that you have not set an outgoing call barring option. A caller cannot reach you Make sure that your phone is switched on. (Press END for more than one second.) Make sure that you are accessing the correct cellular network. Make sure that you have not set an incoming call barring option.

Samsung B2700, New and Tough Candybar
To come out in Europe this summer
Samsung is no stranger to resistant mobile phones (M110 and Z400 being among the latest-released ones) and it will soon come up with a new handset of this kind, named Samsung GT-B2700, or simply Samsung B2700. The "GT" part of the phone's name seems to be a first for Samsung, as the South Korean manufacturer mainly uses the "SGH" code to designate its GSM devices. Anyway, the name matters less, so let's talk about what's behind it. Spotted on the Czech website iDNES, the B2700 is a candybar that won't win any beauty contest, but that's not its purpose anyway. Meeting the IP54 standards, the new Samsung is dust and splash resistant, hence you won't have to take too much care of it when going, let's say, on a wild vacation. Resistance aside, the B2700 is packed with the following features: quad-band GSM connectivity with EDGE, a 1.9 TFT inch display with 176 x 220 pixels, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, Music player, FM radio with RDS, a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording, USB 2.0 and 30MB of internal memory, expandable with up to another 4GB. There's neither 3G connectivity nor a video-call camera, although the front case of the phone shows that one could be included. Samsung GT-B2700 measures 115 x 52 x 18 millimeters and comes with a 1300 mAh battery of unknown performances. The price of the new Samsung candybar is not known yet, but it's rumored to be of around 330 USD (210 Euros). The handset is said to hit the European market sometime at the end of the summer. Knowing this, the B2700 might be a competitor for Sony Ericsson's C702 candybar, which is also presented as being water and dust resistant. Sure, the SE phone has a better camera and a bigger display, but considering the fact that it will be more expensive, the B2700 can surely steal a good part of its potential buyers.
