| I have been using this device nonstop for over two months now. Overall Design, Sound, Display, Slim. I think many advanced features were implemented in YP-P2 compred to just a normal MP3 player. | Very good mp3 player especially a touch capable one at that. Would have given it 5 if not for the defect. Other then that, the P2 is great in theory. Touch screen is a fickle technology. There is a way to transform your device from MTP mode, which is a fickle protocol for WMP. if you are like me who are looking for a mp3 player, but also wish that if it can play videos and have the touch screen. | |

Photo Playback
Samsung Multimedia Software transfers JPEG images onto the P2 for viewing on the device. Images can be zoomed and re-centered. Any JPEG on the P2 can become the wallpaper during music playback.
FM Tuner
The built-in FM Tuner will scan the entire FM range in less than 60 seconds and automatically place the available FM stations into presets. To eliminate stations with marginal reception, users can adjust the sensitivity to only preset stations with strong reception.
Bluetooth 2.0
Bluetooth is a wireless standard which will enable the P2 to pair with other Bluetooth 2.0 devices. The range of the Bluetooth connection is 32.8 feet. P2 comes ready to pair with stereo Bluetooth 2.0 headphones and speaker systems to provide high quality wireless listening. Text Viewer and File Browser
This allows users to view text files on the P2. Text color is customizable and can be viewed in a portrait or landscape view. P2 also comes with a file viewer which allows for users to view and delete any file on the device without the PC.
3" Widescreen LCD with Touch Control
P2 Comes with a 3" WQVGA screen which allows for widescreen viewing in the DVD friendly 16:9 format. The touch screen also reacts to consumers gestures using EmoTure, an input system built by Samsung that goes beyond just merely tapping selections. Users can utilize simple directional slides to easily interact with the menu (i.e. slide fingers across the screen right for FF or left for RW).

Download les with EmoDio
You can easily download various media les with EmoDio.
For information about installing EmoDio on a PC, refer to the Quick Start Guide supplied with your player. EmoDio will be regularly upgraded for peak performance. Some features of EmoDio may change without prior notice.
Connect your player to a PC using the USB cable.
See page 11 to connect the player to your PC. When the player is connected to your PC, EmoDio launches automatically on your PC.
Click <My PC> on the main screen of EmoDio. Click <Add Folder> or <Add File> at the bottom of the My PC screen.
The list of the les stored in your PC appears.
You cannot use your player when connected to a PC. If you connect your player to a PC when the player's battery is low, the battery will be charged for a few minutes before your player will be connected to the PC. If you connect your player to a PC via a USB hub, the PC may not recognize your player. Connect your player directly into the USB port of a PC. When you format your player on a PC, use the FAT32 system. In Windows Vista, click <Restore device defaults> and then format your player. Music recognition technology and related data are provided by Gracenote and Gracenote CDDB Music Recognition ServiceSM. CDDB is a registered trademark of Gracenote. You cannot select a sound effect and change the playback speed if you are playing a music le in Ogg Q10 format.

View pictures stored in your player. To download les, see "Download media les" on page 17.
In the main menu, select Browse pictures.

Select a picture you want. The picture displays on the full screen.

If the picture size is large, it may take some time to display. If you press [ ] on the picture screen while a music le is playing or paused, the mini player will appear. If you were listening to the FM radio, the FM radio will start automatically when the mini player appears.
Play a slideshow
You can create and play a slideshow with your pictures.

View text les
You can use the text viewer to view text les (.txt) stored in your player. To download les, see "Download media les" on page 17.

Insert a bookmark
You can insert a bookmark on the page you want and go to the bookmark to view that page of a document.
On the text screen, press [ ]. Go to the page you want to bookmark and press [ ]. Select <Bookmark> and then <Add Bookmark>.
Select <Viewer Theme>. Press [o] to change the background style.

Set to limit the volume of the earphones to protect your hearing. <Off>: You can adjust the volume as you want. If you increase the volume over level 15 and restart your player, the player will turn on at volume level Wise Volume 15 to protect your hearing. <On>: Your player displays a warning message when you are exposed to a high level of volume for a long period of time. Your player automatically decreases the volume to a moderate level. Optimize the sound settings for your earphones. Master EQ Adjust frequencies for the equalizer.

Your name will be displayed on the screen when your player is turned on. On your birthday, the message "Happy birthday" will be displayed. Set to automatically turn off your player after a specied period of time.
Remember to make backup copies of all important data stored in your player. The manufacturers warranty does not cover loss of data that results from your use of the player.
Menu Description Check the system information of your player. <Firmware>: View the version of the rmware installed in your player. <Memory>: View the total amount of memory, and the amount of memory being used and remaining.

Future upgrades may be available for your player to enhance performance and compatibility.
Connect your player to a PC using the USB cable. Click <MENU> on the top of the EmoDio. Click <Portable Device> <Update Firmware>.
If there is a rmware update available, you can update the rmware. Updated rmware is transferred to the player.

After disconnecting the USB cable, the player will be turned off automatically. Press and hold [
