Bought spare battery and 2 8Gig memory sticks. Great camera for the price. It takes amazing pictures. Real Clear None Small, easy to store camera. Fairly easy to use Low light photos are not very good. If I had a chance to do it again, I would not buy this camera

Samsung Camera SL50 10.2MP I was exceptionally pleased with the speedy delivery and the performance of the camera. Defective camera? I received the "Samsung SL50 10.2 MP Digital Camera with 5X Optical Zoom and 2.5-Inch LCD Display (Silver)" on time, however.

Quality / Frame rate

Exposure compensation
This camera automatically adjusts the exposure according to the ambient lighting conditions. You can also select the exposure value by using the [EV] menu. Compensating Exposure 1. Click the Up/Down button from the Shooting menu to select [EV] ( ). 2. Use the Left and Right buttons to EV Set exposure value to adjust brightness. set the desired exposure compensation factor. 3. Press the OK button. The value you Back Move set will be saved and the Exposure Compensation setup mode will be closed. If you change the exposure value, the exposure indicator ( ) will be displayed on the left of the LCD monitor. A negative exposure compensation value reduces the exposure. Note that a positive exposure compensation value increases the exposure and the LCD monitor will appear white or you may not get good pictures.
You can select the compression ratio appropriate for your application of the captured images. The higher the compression ratio, the lower the picture quality.

The white balance control allows you to adjust the colors to appear more natural.

Select the recorded movie clip that you want to play back by using the Left / Right button. 2. ress the OK button to play back a movie P clip file. - o pause a movie clip file while playing T it back, press the OK button again. - ressing the OK button again will cause the movie clip file to P restart. - o rewind the movie clip while it is playing, press the Left button. Movie clip capture function
You can capture still images from the movie clip. How to capture the movie clip 1. ress the OK button while playing the P movie clip. Then press the Down button. 2. he paused movie clip is saved as a T new file name. he captured movie clip file is the T same size as the original movie clip (640x480, 320x240). hen you press the down button at W the beginning of the movie clip, the first frame of the movie clip will be saved as a still image.
Playing back a recorded voice
1. elect the recorded voice that you want S to play back by using the Left / Right button. 2. ress the OK button to play back a P recorded voice file. Play - o pause a recorded voice file, while T playing it back, press the OK button again. - o resume playback of the voice file, press the OK button. T - o rewind the voice file while it is playing, press the Left button. T To fast forward the voice file, press the Right button. - o stop playback of the voice memo, press the Down button. T

It is possible to add various effects to your images by using this function. 1. Press the play mode button and press the MENU button. 2. Click the Up / Down button from the Edit menu to select [Photo Style Selector] ( ) menu tab and press the OK button. 3. Select a desired sub menu by pressing the Left / Right button and press the OK button.

After using [Edit] feature, the edited image will be saved as a smaller size than the original image. (Only with image size from 7M)

Rotating an image

You can rotate the stored images by various degrees. 1. ress the play mode button and press P the MENU button. 2. lick the Up / Down button from the C Edit menu to select [Rotate] ( ) menu tab and press the OK button. 3. elect a desired sub menu by pressing S the Left / Right button and press the OK button.

The Multi Slide Show can start only in the [Start] menu. 1. se the Up / Down button to select the [Start] menu and press U the Right button. 2. elect a desired sub menu by pressing S the Up / Down button. [Play] : he Multi Slide Show is T closed after one cycle. [Repeat]: he Slide show is repeated T until cancelled.

Music :Off 2. Select a desired sub menu by pressing the Up / Down button. Back Set [All] : images saved on the All memory are played back. Press the OK button and the settings are saved. [Date] : mages taken in a specified date are played back. I Press the OK button and the settings are saved. [Select] : lay only the selected images. If you press the Up / P Down button, you can select the desired images to play back. The selected image can be saved as [Select1], [Select2] and [Select3]. If you save the selected image with the [New Select] command, it will be saved as [Select1]. But when a new image is saved again using [New Select], the former image which had been saved as [Select1] will be saved as [Select2] automatically. You can change and cancel the images which were saved as [Select1], [Select2] and [Select3]. Press the Fn button and the settings are saved.

Setting Background Music

Set the Multi Slide Show music. 1. Select the [Music] sub menu by pressing the Up / Down button and press the Right button. 2. Use the Up / Down button to select the desired Music. 3. Press the OK button to save the configuration.

This enables you to copy image files, movie clips and voice recording files to the memory card. 1. Select the [Copy to Card] menu tab by pressing the Up / Down button. And then press the Right button.
