Stylish little snapper that won't create an unsightly bulge
There's a sizeable 2.7" QVGA screen round the back of Samsung's ultra-thin new ST45 that offers image previews at an impressive resolution of 230,000 dots, with the camera also offering 11 'Smart Scene' auto modes to ensure your photos really don't turn out that bad at all. Digital image stabilisation negates any nervous jitters you may have acquired on life's horrible journey, with Samsung's "Frame Guide" letting snappers take a dummy shot and have that overlaid on the LCD as a guide, so someone else can take a photo of you to your precise specifications. That's the Facebook vanity feature. There's also a "Blink Detection Mode" that ensures everyone's eyes are always closed in every photo you take. No, hang on, it's the other way round. Open. It'll make sure their eyes are always open, by reaching out with a stick and pulling up their eyelids (or it'll take a series of pics when it senses someone's blinking). The ST45 will be out in Late September, in red, black, blue or grey. We have no price as yet.
