Intuitive handling The intuitive menu guidance system makes the Xacti CG100 extremely easy to use. Film or photo? This question is now unnecessary. This is because with the Dual Shot feature, it is also possible to take individual stills while making a video recording. Less experienced film and photo fans also benefit from additional features such as the electronic image stabiliser or face recognition, which automatically focuses on up to twelve people when filming or taking stills. And various motif programs provide the user with optimum settings for the respective light conditions. The super-macro mode allows photos to be taken from as close as one centimetre from the subject. Film enjoyment in full HD The Xacti CG100 records the data on an SD, SDHC or SDXC card. In addition, it supports Eye-Fi-SD cards for the wireless uploading of data to a computer. Since film recordings are stored using the memory-efficient MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format, one 32 GB memory card has enough room for up to four hours of full HD videos in 1080i. Thanks to the mini HDMI port, pictures can be directly transferred to your home HD television without any loss of data. This means that nothing stands in the way of a sociable video evening together with the family.
