ok i b have Vista on my PC but i wanted to install XP because i hate Vista. I read in the help section that I could do b review this so i put in my XP disc and started to install. It did a reformat then the install then reboot and keeps doing this r cycle over and over. I tried installing Vista again red and i get Error 100a and I ve searched for 100a and i cant find what it is. Help Hi case XP cannot install on a Vista-created and formatted volume due to some small changes in the implementation of the file system though it can read them just fine. When you boot the XP disk at the point where you choose the installation location you need review to delete the existing system volume and create a new one then format it quick is ok and proceed with setup. Other volumes on the system can be left as is it s just the sony dsc-t900 system volume that needs to be recreated. Make sure the manufacturer of the pc has XP drivers available for the hardware before doing this reversion as some newer machines red do not support having XP installed on them. OK IE7 is consistently freezing on me with home premium battery. i have had the OK installed for battery about a week now. ON average i will be able to view maybe 5-6 pages before it freezes and i have to bring up the task manager and end sony dsc-t900 the application. This happens viewing a pretty broad spectrum of webpages but maybe more on commercial sites like b review newegg for example. However sometimes it freezes just battery opening up the yahoo homepage. sony dsc-t900. b. r. in general manual i have had less problems on newsgroup pages like this but still. my computer is about 7 years old now but it was an absolute monster when i manual built it dual athlon 1800 processors and 2 gigs of ram. So while i accessories understand vista would like more power my system really shouldn t be such a dog that this is happening. I will upgrade the system soon but for now it is what it r is. i ve gone through some of the tweaking case suggested on websites for performance and i turned off all the other apps AND alot of unnecessary services and idle programs in the systray.
