Ideal This battery appears to be genuine and identical from the original Sony Ericsson battery that came with my phone. Bargain Surprised how well this works. For the money, I was very doubtful that it would work properly, but thought it was worth a try.

Try updating or re-installing the software using the update service via PC and/or phone repair via PC suite.Failing this, send it back to the service centre.

Try phone repair via PC suite, followed by a master reset if the repair doesn't work and failing that, send it back.I've also had a phone sent back to me with very obvious defects, the job sheet stating that no fault was found! They replaced the phone eventually.
