Sync a device via OEM for calendar and contacts - Sony Ericsson Naite J105a
Prerequisites 1. Sony Ericsson Naite J105a handset purchased from Telecom NZ. 2. PC running Windows XP with an available USB port. 3. Sony Ericsson PC Suite. 4. User must be logged in as Administrator or have administrative privileges to modify system files.
Setting up the sync partnership

1. On the PC, open the Sony Ericsson PC Suit.
2. Connect the Sony Ericsson Cable to the handset. 3. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB port on the PC. 4. On the PC you will be prompted to make a selection about what the phone does each time you connect it. Highlight Take no action and press OK.

5. On the PC in the Sony Ericsson PC Suite, click OK.

6. Click on Tools on the left-hand side of PC Suit.

7. Click on Synchronisation.

8. Click the checkboxes for Contacts and Calendar to sync.

Click on Start sync.
10. Once the synchronisation has completed, press Close. The handset and PC are now synchronised.
Install drivers for OEM software - Sony Ericsson Naite J105a
Prerequisites 1. Sony Ericsson Naite J105a handset purchased from Telecom NZ. 2. PC running Windows XP with an available USB port. 3. Sony Ericsson PC Suite installation file. 4. User must be logged in as Administrator or have administrative privileges to modify system files. On the PC
1. Double click on the Sony Ericsson PC Suite installation file, press Run if prompted by a Security Warning. 2. PC Suite will start installing.

3. Press Next.
4. Read through the license agreement and press I accept.

5. Once accepting the license agreement the program will continue to install.
6. When installation is complete, press Continue.

10. Connect the Sony Ericsson Cable to the PC and connect the other end to the handset.
11. PC Suite will detect new hardware.

12. Enter a name for the handset and press Finish.
