W302, Lost ringtones

Somehow, my ringtones have been deleted from my Sony Ericsson W302. Is there anyway to restore these? I so miss some of the original ones that came with the phone.

As there are no software updates for this phone, it is possible that you can retrieve these by a master reset, providing they were part of the factory settings, so there's no guarantee that this would work. Alternatively, you could ask SE to send you these ringtones.

I've tried resetting the phone, but with no luck. The ringtones are gone. I searched the forums for similar questions, and one moderator suggested downloading the free ones from sonyericsson.com/fun. But I can't find my ringtones there. My last hope is to find someone from SE to send me the ringtones or someone in the community.

Hi there, I had exactly the same problem on my K770i: One day all the ringtones had gone.
I had also noticed a couple of days previously, that I wasn't able to take pictures. It turned out that the memory stick had got dislodged, which is where most of the ringtones were stored.
So try openning up your phone, taking out the memory stick, blowing out any dust and putting it back in.
