Hong Kong, June 12, 2009 - Sony Corporation of Hong Kong Limited today unveiled its latest Full HD 5.1-channel home theatre system series for entertainment enthusiasts who are seeking an unforgettable home theatre experience. Designed to complement Blu-ray Disc players and high-definition televisions, the HT-SF360 and HT-SS360 provide outstanding sound to fit seamlessly with the incredible high definition images and create a superlative home theatre experience. Nobody wants a living room cluttered with wires, so the new systems are S-AIR ready and can stream audio to additional rooms or add wireless rear speakers capability with the purchase of the optional S-AIR wireless kit (WHAT-SA1). Sonys intelligent DCAC (Digital Cinema Auto Calibration) technology makes setting up your speakers easy, by measuring a variety of key factors such as speaker distance, volume and frequency to provide the optimum surround sound for music and movies.
Both the HT-SF360 and HT-SS360 are equipped with a hefty 1000W (RMS) power output, supporting pristine high definition sound when hooked up to a Blu-ray Disc player and are BRAVIA sync enabled. Sonys S-Master full digital amplifier is incorporated to deliver high fidelity sound by eliminating the degradation that occurs through digital-analogue conversion. When coupled with DCS (Digital Cinema Sound), the systems enhance the surround sound experience that allows you to enjoy movies in the way they were originally intended. Both models support full 1080/24p and 60p video as well as x.v.Color for extraordinary picture quality. Designed specifically to pair with any Blu-ray Disc players, the systems provide consumers with a choice of powerful performance and unobtrusive design. In addition to featuring a sleek black AV receiver, the new series gives customers the choice of elegant floor-standing speakers (HT-SF360) or satellite speakers (HT-SS360) for a more understated look.
