You can display the information in sequence by pressing v or V on the control button (page 89).
You cannot copy 511 or more folders (except VOICE folders) or files to the root directory that is located immediately below IC RECORDER on the computer. This is due to system limitations (for ICD-UX200/ UX200F only). If no title, or artist name has been registered Unknown will be displayed.
You can record messages in up to 10 folders (FOLDER01-10) using the IC recorder. *1 The name of a folder in which music files are stored will be displayed on the IC recorder as it is, so it is convenient if you put an easy-to-remember name on the folder in advance. Folders shown in the illustration are examples of folder names. *2 The IC recorder can recognize up to 8 levels of folders copied to the IC recorder. *3 If you copy music files separately, they are classified as being in No Folder.

System Limitations

There are some system limitations of the IC recorder. Troubles as mentioned below are not malfunctions of the IC recorder.

Symptom Cause/Remedy

You cannot record messages If you record messages in a mixture of ST, STSP, STLP, SP and LP modes, the recordable time varies from the maximum ST up to the maximum mode recording time to the maximum LP mode recording time. recording time. The sum of the number on the counter (elapsed recording time) and the remaining recording time may be less than the IC recorders maximum recording time. You cannot display or play back music files in order. If you have transferred music files using your computer, those files may not be copied in order of transfer because of system limitations. If you copy music files from your computer to the IC recorder one by one, you can display and play back the music files in copied order. The message/music file has reached the maximum size limit (1 GB), therefore it is automatically divided.
