Sony Unveils New High-End AV Amplifiers Combining 3D capability, Superb Audio Quality and Latest Home Theatre Technology
STR-DA5600ES Hong Kong, November 23, 2010 - Sony Corporation of Hong Kong Limited today introduced two new high-end AV amplifiers the STR-DA5600ES and STR-DA3600ES which are 3Dcapable, network connected and packed with the latest home cinema technology. Both AV amplifiers deliver superb audio quality and showcase meticulous design and construction, as well as innovative features including 3D pass-through and DLNA connectivity for networked audio and video STR-DA5600ES: Ultimate in quality, technology and connectivity The STR-DA5600ES supports for 3D Video Source. When users use HDMI connection, they can enjoy 3D video content with 3D TV and 3D compatible components (Blu-ray Player, Bluray Recorder, PlayStation 3), together with appropriate 3D glasses. The STR-DA5600ES features six HDMI inputs that allow for more HD components to be connected, and two outputs that enable watching TV and projector at the same time. The HDMI inputs and output are able to support x.v. Colour and Deep Colour which precisely reproduce a
wider range of richer colours. High-Definition Digital Cinema Sound (HD-D.C.S.) has evolved to a higher level of acoustic performance that matches HD audio and other high quality sound production standards. HDD.C.S. uses the latest measurement technology and advanced analysis techniques to reproduce reverberant sound that is associated with a cinema theatre. Digital Cinema Auto Calibration EX (DCAC-EX), Sonys latest auto-calibration technology, is used to provide Speaker Relocation to compensate for less-than-ideal room layouts and Automatic Phase Matching for even better speaker integration. Speaker Relocation allows users to enjoy movies and music with ideal surround environment by correcting the degree of speakers position from different room environment and shape space. The STR-DA5600ES will not only operate as a DLNA client for music, video and photos streamed over a home network, but it also receives internet radio and can even stream analogue sources to other DLNA-compliant devices. And with a four-port Ethernet hub built-in, it makes connecting all content to a complete system simple.
