Attaching the lens

1 Turn off the camera. 2 Remove the lens caps on the front and rear of the conversion lens. 3 Attach the adaptor ring supplied with the camera to the camera. (See illustration A-1) 4 Attach the lens to the adaptor ring. (See illustration A-2)

Setting of the camera

When attaching the conversion lens to the camera, make sure to set the camera. If the camera is not set, you may not get the proper effect of the conversion lens. Detaching the lens

Turn off the power of the camera then detach the lens.

Notes on use

You cannot use the conversion lens and filter or protector at the same time. Before attaching the conversion lens, remove the filter or protector. Remove the conversion lens when transporting. Be careful not to subject the lens to mechanical shock while attaching it. Always place the lens caps on the lens when storing. Do not keep the lens in a very humid place for a long period of time to prevent mold. Be careful when placing the camera on a table or other flat surface with the conversion lens mounted. The camera body tilts and becomes unstable because the rim of the lens touches the table. Do not hold the camera only by the attached lens.
