(who, in addition to being a major UK piano manufacturer at the time, were also a partner with Yamaha for selling Yamaha musical instruments here in the UK). The Chappell of Bond Street business is now a direct part of the Yamaha Group. In November 2006 Chappell of Bond Street relocated from its home of 195 years in Bond Street to the historic Grade II listed Novello building at 152-160 Wardour Street, in the heart of Soho. Now spread over three floors of inspiring retail space, the new location incorporates the Yamaha Music London Store, housing one of the most extensive collections of Yamaha musical instruments and instrumental accessories, along with a huge selection of printed music, collectively functioning as Yamahas national showcase store.

ELECTRONIC DRUM-SYSTEM

Yamaha's electronic percussion system DTXplorer 32 preset drumkits (Rock, Funk, Jazz, Reggae, Latin percussion and many more). The DTXplorer comes with a fantastic selection of drumkits ready to play. You can also create your customized kit and store up to 10 drum kits. The DTXplorer gives you access to 192 drum voices and 22 keyboard voices. You can combine clicks at the exact timing as you want to customize your up to 30 own click patterns. You can assign a different drum voice like a kick or a snare to each of five click value types (Acc, quarter note, eighth note, sixteenth note, or triplets). Moreover, individual volume levels for each of the five click beats can be adjusted. The DTXplorer offers 22 preset songs which can be played without the drum track or with only the bass track (Bass-Solo function). And when it's not being used, simply fold the DTXplorer up and store it in a small space.

50 Watt Speaker System including bass reflex subwoofer, powerful 3D sound, close to acoustic kit feel. In rehearsal-room, stage or studio performance: the MS50DR can handle any situation. The drum module can be run on the main input and an external sound-source, for example a CD-player can be run parallel over the stereo-mix inputs. The signal coming off the stereo output can then be fed to a recorder or a PA system. With SPAT1 clamps speakers can be mounted on any rack.
