Install or Replace Gutter Guards Clogged gutters can quickly lead to water damage around your house and roof, and can become a real chore to clean regularly. Spare yourself from a potentially messy and expensive situation by installing or replacing worn-out gutter guards to keep gutters debris-free. View a video demo here. Youll need: - Dremel 8200 or any Dremel rotary tool that works with all attachments - 575 Right Angle Attachment - EZ402 EZ Lock Mandrel - EZ456 EZ Lock Cutting Wheel - 932 Aluminum Oxide Grinding Stone - Ladder - Tape measure - Metal snips - Gutter guards - Hose Steps: 1. Clean all debris from gutters and downspouts. 2. Check for any remaining debris or leaks by running a hose in the gutter and watching for water leaks or spills. 3. Measure gutters that need guards, then purchase the appropriate amount. 4. Secure the EZ456 EZ Lock Cutting Wheel in the EZ402 EZ Lock Mandrel attached to your rotary tool, then attach the 575 Right Angle Attachment. 5. With your tool running at a medium-high speed, cut guard sections to fit each gutter area by applying light pressure and making an easy and even cut through the material. Do not apply excess pressure, as that will cause the wheel to wear down and could damage its hub. 6. If your cut gutter has sharp edges, use a grinding stone, such as the 932 Aluminum Oxide Grinding Stone, to de-burr the edges. 7. Install new guard by sliding the top section under the bottom row of shingles, then snap the guards edge to the outer part of the gutter.

Create Terra Cotta Luminaries, Decorative Flower Pots or Napkin Rings A simple terra cotta pot can be transformed into a variety of decorative pieces, depending on your needs and size of pot. Medium and large pots can become luminaries or decorative flower pots, while miniature pots can easily be made into unique napkin rings all with the help of a Dremel rotary tool. Spruce up your own yard or dinner party, or give to your favorite mom as a thoughtful, homemade mothers day gift. View a video demo here. Youll need: - Desired size and number of terra cotta pots (recommended size for luminaries: 4-inch or smaller mouth) - Dremel 8200 or any Dremel rotary tool that works with all attachments - A577 Detailers Grip Attachment - 562 Tile Cutting Bit - Desired paint, ribbon or other adornments Steps: 1. Draw the pattern of your choice on your pots. 2. To reduce dust while working, soak your pots in water for 20 minutes, then remove and let sit for 15-20 minutes before starting your design. 3. Begin your cut into the terra cotta by making a series of passes over the same point this will wear away at the pot to create a pilot hole and also extend the life of the accessory. 4. Once the pilot hole is complete, fully plunge the bit through the pot. 5. Use the sides of the bit (where cutting teeth are located) to wear through your pattern in a sawing, up-and-down motion. Work from the inside to the outside of your pattern, using gradual and steady pressure so as not to overheat the bit. 6. If youre making napkin rings, follow the same steps above to cut out the bottom of your pots. Decorate with paint or by attaching ribbons or other adornments to match your dcor. 7. If youre making a decorative flower pot, simply place your potted plant inside the terra cotta pot. Tip: Consider painting the plastic pot to allow added color to peak through your design, if youve cut all the way through. 8. To finish a luminary, place your carved pot upside-down on a saucer with a candle or light inside.
