Holder with pass-through connector. All cables that can be used with the GPS device can also be used with the holder, for example a TMC cable. This means that you can have both charging and TMC connected to the GPS in the same time! When you have attached the cable to the holder it is firmly in place and you do not have connect it manually to the device each time you put the GPS in the holder. You can choose between a passive holder with tilt swivel, an active holder with cigarette lighter plug or an active holder for fixed installation. Active holders with charging cable connect to the vehicles cigarette lighter socket. The active holders for fixed installation are connected behind the dashboard, this gives a neat installation without cables hanging over the interior. 12/24 Volt You can easily take the device with you when leaving the vehicle. The holdera are equipped with a tilt swivel so they can be adjusted in order to avoid light reflection on the screen. Attach onto ProClip Mounting Platform.

Price reduction for PND upgrades new maps and functions for all device categories
Many useful functions and a map update: all upgrades for NAVIGON devices are particularly good value for a limited period. The discount promotion is on now until 17 March. Hamburg, 14 March 2011 NAVIGON is cutting the price of all upgrades. PND owners can now update their device for even less money including the latest map material for the whole of Europe.1 This promotion is a way of saying thank you to our long-standing customers during our anniversary year, says Jrn Watzke, Executive Vice President of Product Line Management at NAVIGON. With upgrades for the various device categories, they get new features and up-to-date European maps for the device they are familiar with. The latest European maps and new features The highlight of all available upgrades is the up-to-date map of Europe, helping drivers to safely find their destination in 40 countries. Owners of devices with regional map material benefit twice: users who could previously only access maps of selected countries can get the entire EU map material by upgrading.2 The upgrades expand the devices to include various features depending on the factory specification of individual devices: for instance, entry-level models like the NAVIGON 2300 get the specification of a NAVIGON 20 Plus including the Active Lane Assistant, the One Click Menu and MyBest POI. Owners of superior-class models like the 8450 Live can upgrade their device to the NAVIGON 8450 Live Premium Edition. This means they can use new real-time services like Fuel Live, Events Live and City View 3D.

For technical reasons, each device can only be upgraded once.
