Printing From Compact Flash
The HP PSC 2170 series all-in-one supports Smart Media, Compact Flash, Memory Stick and SecureDigital photo cards. Using the photo card slots available in your PSC, you can download pictures from a photo card to your computer, you can print the pictures directly from the photo card, or you can select and print just a few pictures directly from the photo card using the Proof Sheet. Simply put your photo card in the correct photo card slot and follow the prompts on the front panel.

Printing From Compact Flash (Or other Mini Disk Media)
This is a three step process that includes printing a Proof Sheet of the images on your photo card, selecting the images and print job specifics on the Proof Sheet, and scanning the Proof Sheet to print the images as you selected on the Proof Sheet. 1.Insert your photo card into one of the four available photo card slots on the front right side of the PSC. The photo card must be put in the correct slot for the particular type of photo card. Once the photo card is inserted correctly, the Photo Card button will light up and the front panel will prompt you to press 1 to save the images to your computer, or 2 to print the images directly from the photo card. 2.Press the Proof Sheet button. The front panel will display the Proof Sheet options. 3.Press 1 to print a Proof Sheet. If there are less than 20 photos, the Proof Sheet will print immediately. If there are more than 20 photos, you wi ll be prompted to choose to print all photos, the last 20 photos, or a range of photos. 4.On the Proof Sheet, select the images and options you want by filling in the corresponding circles with a pen or pencil. 5.Put the Proof Sheet on the scanner glass in the bottom -right corner with the top of the sheet to the right. 6.Press the Proof Sheet button. 7.Press the 2 button on the keypad. The Proof Sheet is scanned and prints are created as specified on the sheet.
Using a #2 Pencil, bubble in the form to select thumbnails to print, and at the bottom of the sheet various, print Options. Then Using the Proof Sheet Scan Function of the Printer, You Scan the image into the Workcenter, and your printer will automatically Print the selected images in the desired sizes and formats.

The Copy Function

The HP PSC 2175 Has A Built In Copy Function That Works just like a standard Copier. The Only added functions, are a choice between sizes, color or B/W, and Step Layout Functionality.
