2400 dpi optical for 35mm filmpositive and negative strips, slides and mounted negatives. 300 dpi optical for photographic prints 35mm positive and negative strips (up to 5 frames) and photographs from 2 X 2 up to 5 X 7 12-bit per color linear internal resolution (total 36 bit). Image can be output at up to 12-bit per color during Twain session (application must support higher bit depth). User interface software saves images in 8-bit/color.
