we bought this unit to take with us on a fishing trip to Canada and is was used and abused and with stood it all.

great item, but.... Great item, used for geochaching and basic nav. nice features, easy to learn and use. Problems I had, gps would not settle down. excellent back country GPS I love this unit. It is much easier to use than the old Magellan I own. Satellite acquisition is pretty quick. works great bought this for use on my motorcycle and really like it. case is rugged and battery life is excellent.

durable, Water resistant, easy to get used to, dependable map very stripped. only the main roads, and there are no updates available Why would anyone design a battery compartment cover that has a rubber seal and a 0.5 mm gap between that seal and the body? Great basic GPS As a solo walker I bought my 60 as backup for my sometime bad navigation and as someone else said it does what it says on the tin.

Not sure why they asked for brightness score for a review of a power cord... Well, what can you say about a cigarette lighter power cord? I was pleased arrived early since ordered few days before Christmas. Performance rates relate to Garmin 76CSX for both adapters. Arrived early.

Rugged, Reliable Navigation I bought this unit about 2 years ago, to use for both Geocaching and fieldwork at University. Great basic GPS As a solo walker I bought my 60 as backup for my sometime bad navigation and as someone else said it does what it says on the tin.

Great product, simple to use and easy to download the information. easy to use, easy to download, hold lots of data on/off button too small.

Compact color screen with mapping ability. Expandable with use of Micro SD card. Garmin accessories are widely available. this unit is the best out there at the current time for hiking, backpacking, boating, exploring the great outdoors. In the past I have used a Garmin II Plus and a Garmin V. It was a difficult decision figuring out which model to purchase but not which brand.
