Now you can extend protection against the cost of major repairs beyond the two-year John Deere basic warranty on new tractors, with the purchase of the PowerGard Protection Plan extended warranty. Coverage applies to failures of covered components due to defective materials or original workmanship. You can choose either Limited (engine & powertrain) coverage, or the Comprehensive (full-machine) PowerGard coverage form.

Provides extended warranty protection on new John Deere Compact and Utility tractors with the use of only Genuine John Deere Parts in all covered repairs. Coverage forms available include: o Limited (Engine & Powertrain) component extended warranty protection. o Comprehensive (Full-Machine) component extended warranty protection. All coverage forms exclude high wear and maintenance items. Check the PowerGard Protection Plan for more details at your local John Deere dealer.

Coverage Features

Low Deductibles for all covered repairs under the plans, you are only responsible for a $100 deductible (for 2000, 3000 & 4000 Series models) or $250 deductible (for 5000 Series models) per work order. Pays 100% parts and labor on all covered components and repairs, less the deductible. PowerGard ensures only Genuine John Deere Parts are used in all covered repairs. Coverage is completely transferable to the next owner when you sell or trade your John Deere tractor, with no transfer fees. This adds value at the time of sale or trade! Coverage can be purchased anytime during the two-year basic warranty period. Customers can purchase PowerGard Protection early in warranty and get a great low rate if purchased in the first 12 months / 1000 hours of use. After this period and out to 24 total months / 2000 hours, it can purchased in the delayed purchase period for a surcharge. Tractor inspection and certification (with fluid testing) may be required in this delayed period.
New John Deere Tractors Eligible
* New John Deere 2000, 3000, 4000 and 5000 series tractors are eligible for PowerGard Protection Plan, as long as purchased by commercial customers. Residential equipment owners are not eligible for PowerGard Protection Plan contracts. PowerGard Certified used (out-of-warranty) inspected & certified John Deere 2000, 3000, 4000 and 5000 series tractors in your local dealerships inventory may also be eligible.
