Great buy for the money.  The device is packed with High End features. For a basic unit (no blue tooth, traffic, voice input) this unit rocks. Got mine on eBay for $119 including shipping. Lane Assist is great.

Navigon no longer in U.S. Please note that if you buy anything Navigon, you will be on your own. Navigon has abandoned the U.S. Im sold on GPS I never really thought I needed a GPS, especially when I needed to justify spending money for such a device. After getting this GPS.

Initializing the GPS receiver
Note: If possible, position the device with a clear line of sight to the sky to successfully receive messages from the GPS satellites. Note: GPS initialization requires data from at least three satellites. If GPS data is not available, the receiver will not initialize. Note: It can take up to 20 minutes to initialize the integrated GPS receiver for the first time. Note: Each time you turn on the device, GPS receiver initialization begins. When GPS data is available, reception starts within one minute. If the navigation device has been switched to standby for more than a week, the next initialization can take up to 10 minutes.
In the upper right-hand corner of the display, the GPS symbol appears. As soon as data from at least 3 satellites is received, the symbol changes to (GPS Ready).
Note: If the GPS symbol displays GPS Ready after considerably less than 20 minutes, it is advisable to leave the receiver switched on for at least an additional 15 minutes to ensure reliable operation.
Caution! The GPS receiver requires a constant supply of power. Leaving the device plugged into your cigarette lighter for a longer period with the vehicle turned off could drain the vehicle battery.
