Good colour ; detail, contrast ; accessories and software Colour Balance in higher resolutions Detailed vivid scans, USB connectivity, subtle design, easy to use. OCR software opens seperate window for each scanned page, large footprint.

Fast scans, great quality, good price. Not for heavy-duty scanning, on the large side. The Epson 640U is a great scanner for almost any home user. It produces great scans pretty quickly.
