JetPhoto Studio Quick Start Guide
for SONY GPS-CS1
Photos Locating
Import photos and GPS tracks into JetPhoto Studio, and match photos with time synchronized GPS tracks automatically. In this way, photos will be located. Each located photo will have a position attribute that is a Latitude-Longitude coordinate to indicate the place where the photo was taken.
1. Create Photo Album
3. Locate Photos with GPS
Choose menu item File->New Album. to name new album and select a location to save it on your computer disk. Drag and drop your photo files into the album window to import photos.
Select a time zone where photos were taken in STEP2- Locate Photos with GPS box. Click Locate Photos! button.
4. Locate Photos with Map
2. Import GPS Tracks
Choose menu item GPS & Geotag -> Point Photo Location on Map.
Connect SONY GPS-CS1 to your computer via a USB cable, and a portable disk volume will mount on your computer.
In this way, you can also change the location for a photo that has already been located.
5. Show Photo Location on Map Choose menu item GPS & Geotag -> Locate Photos with GPS. Click from File button in STEP1 Download GPS Tracks box. Select a GPS track file saved in the GPS-CS1 USB disk, file type is NMEA 0813, and then GPS tracks will be loaded into your JetPhoto Studio. Select Map tab (with a small earth icon) in extra panel enclosed with the album window, the photo location will be shown in an embedded Google map view.
Geotagging with Google Maps, Google Earth and Flickr
Link and browse photos on Google Maps and Google Earth, or publish and share located photos on Web.

3. Upload photos to Flickr
Choose menu item GPS & Geotag -> Locate Photos with GPS. Click Generate Google Map Gallery button in STEP3 Show Photos on Google Earth box.
Choose menu item Web Album -> Upload to Flickr.
The uploaded photos on Flikr can be linked and browsed on Yahoo! Maps.
The generated Google Map gallery is a HTML based web page that can be uploaded to your web server. You can also publish photo albums to web using 2. Make Google Earth KML, KMZ JetPhoto Server GEO Edition, users can browse photos with Google Maps and Google Earth on Choose menu item GPS & Geotag -> Locate Photos with GPS. Click Go To Earth, Generate KML or Generate KMZ button in STEP3 Show Photos on Google Earth box.

4. Create your website with JetPhoto Server
Select Actions tab in album window, and click WebSync button to upload album.
The generated KML or KMZ files can be opened with Google Earth to browse photos and GPS tracks.
