1. Remove the ROPS, seat, seat tracking, floormat, bolts for front platform and for the rear fender from the tractor. 7. NOW YOU ARE READY TO MOUNT Figure 5 THE CAB. Place one rubber isolator (8) on each of the mounting brackets. Lift and position the back of the cab slightly behind the tractor. Slowly lower the cab with the back positioned lower than the front, in a motion moving down and then forward until the bolt holes line up. See Figure 4.1. 8. To secure the front mounts of the cab use one steel flat washer (10.2), one rubber washer (11.2), one 3/8 flat washer, one 3/8 whiz nut, and one 3/8 x 3 hex bolt (12.2) on each L & R. See Figure 4.2. 10. Take 180 degree O-rubber (16) and place it along the inside edge of the left front enclosure shield. (17) Now take 180 degree O-rubber and slide it along the bottom edge of the shield.(18) See Figure 6. Remove the factory bolt from the tractor. (19) See Figure7. 11. John Deere 4300, 4400 Heater Instuctions
1. Proceed with the following after the 4200 cab has been mounted. 2. Lift the hood cover and drain the anti-freeze from the tractors engine. 3. Remove the two 5/16 x 1 bolts fastening the roof to the front cab frame. Open the roof, using the roof prop to secure the roof. Clamp. Next cut the radiator into two sections (2). Then attach the 1 1/8 splicer (3) to the cut sections of the radiator hose and secure using two HS-20 hose clamps. Next attach a 3/Standard fitting (4) to the splicer. Remember to use a water sealant material around the threads. Then take the black rubber hose attached to the water valve, and to the splicer. See Figure 1.
