Wow what a great machine I cannot express what a fantastic machine this is. The spec alone is very very impressive.

I purchased an Acer laptop 14 months ago. Ye...  Price, maybe Everything Else I had a slightly earlier 8100 model, which I ...  A lot of features for a low price Terrible customer service

I bought a Travelmate 8100 several months ago and have found it to be a powerful, fast work machine that doubles as a leisure/games machine at home. Software. For some strange reason, Acer has seen fit to set the system up in Fat 32 despite it being fully capable of NTFS. This is disappointing. Fast, Wireless, Bluetooth, Secure, Widescreen Low sound quality, Temerature problems(?) Large screen good quality Heavy not hi-spec

I upgraded to the Acer 8100 series after using a Dell 8600 for over a year and I couldnt be happier with my upgrade. This thing is outstanding....
