They symbolise something extraordinary: the vehicles beating heart the powerhouse that enables this particular SUV to accelerate from 0 to 62mph in just 5.5 seconds. Audi has won the gruelling Le Mans 24-hour race an unprecedented 9 times in 11 years. Our experience and success in this, the worlds toughest race, helped us to create the worlds most powerful diesel passenger car. TDI has been crucial to our Le Mans successes. Its also the key to the V12 TDIs remarkable power; enabling it to draw a constant mix of up to 6 litres of air and fuel into the combustion chambers. Ultimately, this delivers 1,000 Nm of torque which is perfectly harnessed by our advanced quattro all-wheeldrive system, enabling the Audi Q7 6.0 V12 TDI to embrace every twist in the road.
As the worlds first production car to feature a V12 TDI engine, the Audi Q7 6.0 V12 TDI is already in a class of its own. But there are other details which set it apart. The exhaust pipes integrated into the rear bumper and the 12 individual LED lights on either side of the grille which give it an unmistakable look. There are also the ceramic brakes a feature usually reserved for racing cars, which ensure the Audi Q7 V12 stops just as quickly as it goes.

The Audi Q7 is optionally available with a high-rev V6 TFSI engine with 200 kW or 245 kW. Petrol direct injection is excellently complemented by the compressor charging, because the evaporation of the fuel takes place directly in the combustion chamber and heat is drawn from the fresh air suctioned in. This increases the compression, improves efficiency and power, and results in a significant reduction in CO emissions at the same time. With TFSI technology, displacement is replaced by charging without having to do without dynamics, despite excellent efficiency. The completely redeveloped eight-gear automatic transmission tiptronic fitted as standard in six and eight-cylinder models supports the Q7 with the optimum transmission of its power to the road. The great strength of the electronically controlled eight-gear tiptronic is its high overall spacing between the shortest and the longest ratio, which also helps to keep the noise level down. In combination with the improved drive train, fuel consumption can also be reduced by up to 5 %. Thanks to a highly efficient oil supply pump and heating of the oil after a cold start through coolant (only in the V6 TDI), the new automatic transmission achieves even greater efficiency. As well as increasing efficiency, the eight-gear tiptronic also provides more driving comfort. No matter which engine variant you decide on, the Audi Q7 convinces again and again on every journey.
The 3.0 TDI is the latest generation of diesel engines. The outstanding features of the highly efficient engine are its economy, low emissions and high performance.

The start-stop system helps save fuel. It can be deactivated through a switch if required, however. AdBlue is a biologically degradable additive. A minimum dose is injected upstream of the nitrogen oxide catalytic converter. The combination of supercharging and direct fuel injection gives the new 3.0 TFSI superior potential: more power and dynamics despite reduced consumption.
The 3.0 TDI clean diesel quattro has a nitrogen oxide catalytic converter with AdBlue tank. In combination with the common rail technology and highly efficient exhaust gas recirculation, nitrogen oxide emissions can be reduced by up to 90 %.

Get in and feel at home. The optional climate-controlled comfort seats of the Audi Q7 with perforated leather, active front seat ventilation and seat heating leave nothing to be desired. The luxuriously equipped interior lives up to even the highest demands. Here, clear and functional shapes are combined with dynamic elegance and exclusive materials. Pleasant LED ambient lighting presents the centre console in the proper light. The optional light package of the Audi Q7 also gives you a warm welcome. Among other things, active door reflectors, entrance illumination and background lighting in the doors create a relaxed light atmosphere and help you get in safely in the dark. Multifunctionality does not have to be complicated, as the latest generation of the Audi Multi Media Interface MMI proves. The central control system of the Performance SUV gives you rapid access to important vehicle information and functions. The optional MMI navigation plus offers you a radio with dual tuner, DVD drive and two SDHC card readers. With a highquality map display on the high resolution 7-inch colour display, the navigation system guides you safely to your destination. The required navigation data is on the hard disc, which you can also use to store music. The excellent performance of the MMI navigation plus is completed by voice-controlled operation of basic functions for navigation, address book and, if fitted, telephone. Interior Q7

With the optional comfort key, the Audi Q7 automatically recognises you and unlocks as soon as a door is operated. Having arrived at your destination, the optional parking system supports you while parking. It warns you acoustically when it recognises obstacles behind the vehicle. If required, the parking system plus offers an even better overview, as it also monitors the area in front of the Audi Q7 and additionally warns you optically via the MMI. The parking system plus with reversing camera is also available as an option. Thanks to the guidelines which are incorporated into the MMI display, parking and hitching trailers is easier than it has ever been. The generous feeling of space is accentuated with the right sound experience. You can choose between two high-quality sound systems. The BOSE Surround Sound System automatically recognises and compensates for disturbing surrounding noises and adapts the volume to the speed for a constantly brilliant sound experience. In the Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System, two acoustic lenses are automatically extended from the dashboard when the system is started, which ensure an exact and true-to-detail performance on any seat with its precisely aligned horizontal emission. More than 1,000 watts and 14 separate loudspeakers provide an outstanding sound experience. In conjunction with the MMI navigation plus and the integral DVD player, both sound systems enable you to play 5.1 Surround Sound. Inlays in gloss finish black or optionally in aluminium Trigon or selected woods set visual accents. Together with the fine cloth and leather trims they underline the high quality appearance of the Audi Q7. The standard-fitted deluxe automatic air conditioner permanently monitors and controls the temperature and air quality in the interior during the journey. The 4-zone deluxe automatic air conditioner ensures an individual pleasant climate in the second and optional third row of seats, if desired.

In doing so, the fuel is finely atomised, which results in better combustion. The crankshaft is made from a chromium molybdenum steel alloy, the pistons from aluminium.
You can drive the Audi Q7 V12 TDI quattro up to a top speed of 250 km/h
after which the electronic regulation function comes into action. The maintenance-free chain drive is situated on the rear side of the engine to save space.
The crankcase is made of a high-tech material. It is manufactured using a patented casting process and has remarkable advantages: It is more rigid, more resistant to fatigue and lighter than comparable materials.

The wheel arch extensions of the Audi Q7 V12 TDI quattro give it a dominant and powerful presence. The xenon plus headlights, in combination with the LED daytime running lights, give the front section an unmistakeable appearance. The chrome-plated singleframe radiator grille gleams invitingly in the sunlight. The powerful standard brake system with 20-inch ventilated discs made of carbon-fibre reinforced ceramics are visible through the optional 21-inch wheels. The discs are light in weight, yet are prone to less wear and deliver excellent performance, even with heavy use. Large, shiny black air inlets in the bumpers ensure the high-performance engine gets the ventilation it needs.
