Dressing Rooms

Four dressing rooms located below stage level. Two have a capacity of 12 performers; two have a capacity of 8 performers. All four rooms are equipped with makeup mirrors, shower, toilet, costume rack, sink counter space, and lockers. The dressing rooms serve all the performance spaces in the Arts Centre. There are three access points to the stage from the dressing room area located DSL, DSR, and USR.

Costume Shop and Labs

Located on second floor of Arts Centre. Contains a washing machine and dryer; (3) industrial steam irons; (2) domestic sewing machines, (8) industrial sewing machines, (3) industrial sergers, (1) industrial blind hemmer, a fitting room; (12) adjustable cutting tables and (6) work tables. There are 28 ergonomic chairs for these spaces.

Rehearsal Rooms

The Arts Centre complex includes four rehearsal/performance studios. Each studio is approximately 48 x 46 and has one of the following: a baby grand piano, a grand piano, or an upright piano. These include a multipurpose blackbox studio theatre, a band rehearsal studio, a choir rehearsal studio, and a dance rehearsal studio. There are two ensemble rooms (set up classroom style) each with 2 upright pianos. These spaces are to be booked in advance and are subject to availability. Please contact the facilities coordinator for further information.

General Remarks

The Arts Centre has no union affiliation. The Arts Centre uses a Sennheiser SI 1013 infrared hearing assistance system. The only major obstruction of the stage is the orchestra shell stored USL.
