The Boris KeyFramer is a standalone application designed to create Boris GRAFFITI effects ofine using any computer. The KeyFramer is a cross-platform application which can be duplicated and distributed free of charge. Instead of video from your Final Cut Pro timeline, the KeyFramer uses proxy images. You can also import still images and EPS les, OMF and movie les, and create color, gradient, natural or text media in the KeyFramer. Once you create effects in the KeyFramer, you save the settings to render in your Final Cut Pro. However, when you open these settings in your Final Cut Pro, you can still make adjustments before rendering. For example, use the KeyFramer to create long credit rolls on a lap top computer. This avoids tying up your Final Cut Pro system for long periods of time and reduces the risk of typographical errors. It is especially useful if the person responsible for the accuracy of the content is not the person who will create the roll. Save the styles that you use for your credit roll in the Style Palette. Then you can quickly format long credit rolls.

The Boris Library Browser allows you to quickly preview and apply settings les from the KeyFrame Library, including settings les that you add or customize. The KeyFrame Library is a collection of hundreds of preset effects that is automatically installed when you install GRAFFITI.
