Has anyone sennheiser rs 120 got this to work with Vista I ve installed the software but it fails to do anything HiI had problems with this device but finally got it working by a lot of trial and error. 1 specs. Turn off user account control and restart the machine without the device rf plugged in. rf 2. Ensure the device is plugged into a main USB port NOT thought a peripheral monitor or game card or thtough a hub sennheiser rs 120. 3 specs. Ensure that the installation software that came with the device is not specs installed. 4 troubleshooting. Ensure that the installation disc is in the machine before the system starts to look for troubleshooting and install the device. dont know sennheiser rs 120 why this makes difference but it did on my machine. 5 rf. I have a home network set specs up for 4 computers. Two desktops one laptop have XP one troubleshooting laptop has Vista. While using the desktops sennheiser rs 120 my roommate and I will sometimes shift to our laptops to browse the web. His laptop running XP has no effect on the network even troubleshooting if it has been idle for a while. My laptop running Vista has a much different effect sennheiser rs 120. If my sennheiser rs 120 laptop has been sitting idle for a while when I try to access the internet every computer on the internet experiences a severe lag spike lasting around 2-3 minutes. Once the network has had its time to settle I can use the sennheiser rs 120 Vista laptop without issue NOT the same as the consistent Vista spikes referenced in other posts . Recently my CD DVD burner write speeds have specs really taken a dive. The fastest I sennheiser rs 120 can transfer files from CD to Desktop is 948k sec. Burn speeds are really slow also sennheiser rs 120. I have Windows auto-updates on so my specs system is very up-to-date. Turning off my anti-virus does not specs help.
