I dont really like the Nintendo DS, but I can say that it does have some strengths. I would recommend the Nintendo DS Lite much more than the DS.

The DVD Builder main screen has 3 parts.; Edit Task Pane ( Left side of the screen) , the Menu Editor ( to the right Upper Center ) , and the Production Editor ( below the Menu Editor ). DVD Menu Editor

The Menu Editor provides the tools you need to customize the appearance of the menus in your project. Change the appearance of text, including the heading and button titles, and arrange the buttons on the menu. In DVD Builder, a menu is a list of titles (buttons that allow you to play video clips, photos, and so on) from which you can select. The menus work the same way as the menus you see when you play a DVD- video disc that you rent or buy from your local video store. These menus typically let you choose to play the movie, select audio settings, view bonus material, and so on.

Most televisions, especially older ones, use overscan, which can cause the edges of the picture to be lost. If you put buttons or text in that area, you might not see them when you play the DVD on your set-top player.
