Upgrade to 20 Plus brings 22 and 23 series devices new features and the latest maps
NAVIGON is opening a world of new possibilities to owners of 22 and 23 series devices. They can upgrade their navigation device to the NAVIGON 20 Plus and use new features such as the Active Lane Assistant. The latest map material for 44 European countries completes the range of features. Hamburg, 20 January 2011 New year, new features: a software upgrade can now turn the 22 and 23 series devices1 into the NAVIGON 20 Plus. In addition to the extra features, users also get new and up-to-date map material. With this upgrade we are updating our customers tried-and-tested devices in line with the current generation of navigation devices, says Jrn Watzke, Executive vice-president of Product Line Management at NAVIGON. That means they get the very best equipment in the entry-level segment and can use our innovative features like One-Click Menu directly on their familiar device. Users also get the latest map material for 44 countries. Always in the right lane with the Active Lane Assistant The upgrade includes numerous features that particularly enhance the safety and comfort aspects of the 22 and 23 series models. The Active Lane Assistant provides better orientation in hectic traffic. By way of a travelling animation the driver always knows which lane to be in for the next manoeuvre. With MyBest POI users can set three preferred special destination categories. These POIs and the menu bar can be called up by clicking anywhere on the display thanks to the One-Click Menu. Any information that is not needed will be automatically hidden so that a larger section of the map can be displayed. Even after the vehicle has been parked, users will not lose their way: the integrated pedestrian navigation will guide them reliably on foot through unfamiliar streets and city centres. Thanks to NAVIGON Last Mile finding the way back to the vehicle is childs play. The feature stores the parking place of the vehicle and guides users safely back to it after their walk.

shows you on its display the landscape as you actually see it when you look through your windscreen. With hills, valleys, tunnels and everything else.

Landmark View3D

takes the Eiffel Towers and Big Bens of this world and puts them on your display in 3D so that you wont drive past the real ones when traffic is hectic.

Reality View Pro

shows roads not as lines, but realistically, with asphalt and road markings. This makes it easier for you to maintain an overview of motorway junctions and exits (Reality View Light: exits only).

Speed Assistant

tells you the current speed limit. It will also provide you with audio and visual warnings if you happen to exceed it.
Optimum Route (shortest & fastest)
is the combination of the fastest and the shortest route. This saves you time and fuel. It is good for your wallet and for the environment.
Autoswitch Day & Night Mode
does exactly what its name says. When it gets dark outside, the display automatically adjusts to the new light situation.
